SanDisk(R) Corporation Introduces Products Featuring the Liquidmetal(R) Casings at Consumer Electronics Show

LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 2006--The SanDisk Corporation product introduction at the Consumer Electronics Show was among those taking "center stage" with the introduction of their enhanced "U3 Smart" USB Flash Drives, and the introduction of their Sansa e200 Flagship MP3 Player. Both products are utilizing the Liquidmetal(R) Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:LQMT) alloy, for the strength and durability of the Liquidmetal alloy which allows for resistance to scratches and wear, while providing increased protection for both of these state of the art devices unveiled yesterday at the opening of the four day Consumer Electronic Show Trade Fair in Las Vegas.
