CORRECTING and REPLACING Nomad Sales Appointed Midwest Regional Sales Representative for Liquidmetal® Technologies

This document corrects and replaces the press release that was issued on
September 17, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The release
incorrectly attributed the background of the founders and senior
partners of Nomad Sales to the recently formed partnership of Nomad
Sales. Accordingly, corrections were made to the second and fourth
paragraph, with additional information about the experience of the
senior partners provided in the second paragraph. The company apologizes
for any inconvenience.

Liquidmetal® Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: LQMT) formally
introduced today Nomad Sales as the Company’s sales representative firm
in the Midwest region of the U.S. Nomad Sales will be promoting
Liquidmetal amorphous alloys for commercial markets such as aerospace,
medical and industrial products.
Based in the Twin Cities area of Minneapolis, Nomad Sales is an
independent manufacturer’s representative firm recently founded by its
two senior partners, Jim Morris and Charlie Reese. Nomad Sales was
formed to represent manufacturers whose products are made using plastic
injection molding, aluminum and zinc die casting, rotational molding and
precision machining, Morris and Reese each have more than 25 years of
industry experience, serving collectively more than 250 customers across
various industries, including medical, automotive, defense, recreational
vehicle, agriculture and industrial durable goods.
